S1 Week 11
After weeks of research, we finally proceed to design :)
I started thinking about the architectural brief and programs to be included into this project.
Then, I allocated required total floor area for each programs (reference to precedents).
Program diagrams
Radial program diagram:
The inner radius indicates the connections between programs,
followed by the required floor area, examples of spatial quality and finally, envisioned events and activities within those spaces.
From the initial program diagram, I explored 3 different type of program distribution archetypes.
The 3 options:
at this stage, the planning can be arbitrary but the idea is to pour out any relevant ideas to form a platform for further progression.

These options allowed me to explore on many different ideas without too many constraints. However each options are too diluted. Therefore the next step is to study carefully on these ideas and identify essential ones that could potentially be amalgamated in the next phase of design.
